Excellent inaugural event
What a fantastic inaugural Market Harborough Half Marathon! From start to finish, the event was exceptionally well organised and a real credit to everyone involved.
The communication before race day was clear, timely, and informative, making everything feel straightforward and stress-free in the lead-up to the event. On the day itself, the organisation was equally impressive — from registration and bag drop to marshals, signage, and support around the course. Everything ran smoothly and there was such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere throughout.
The route was well planned, with brilliant encouragement from volunteers and spectators that kept runners motivated the whole way round. It’s clear a huge amount of effort went into making this first event a success, and it absolutely paid off.
A superb addition to the local running calendar — I’ll definitely be back next year!

Challenging but well organised
A challenging course with a number of climbs, all on closed roads. Really well organised and I liked that the pacers had a bio in the event pack, great idea. Good support along the route as well as water stations with sensible sized bottles. Not a PB course but you will definitely feel you have achieved something at the end! Recommended

A very enjoyable half marathon. The hills were challenging but didn’t take away from what was a really great day. Will most definitely have this on the calendar next year. Thanks to Race Harborough for putting this on. Well organised and the marshals & support on route were amazing.

Excellent day! I've done many 1/2 and full marathons, and the organisation and convenience of this event was faultless. Special mention to Marshalls who were positive throughout, as well as the1.40 pacer offering encouragement and advice throughout. Will definitely do this event again! Thank you for a great morning.
