Great event for a first Ultra , very well organised , lovely friendly atmosphere fantastic support from all the marshals , Thankyou for all your hard work , would recommend this run

Great race - beautiful Northamptonshire Exhibition
Fantastic race, organisation was brilliant. Aid stations were well stocked and spaced. Marshalls and event organisers were friendly and supportive.

Fantastic event - loved every minute of it. Really friendly welcome from the Race Organiser and team and excellent support from marshals throughout. Great course - no need to think about directions! Loved the out and back with the constant encouragement from fellow runners. Amazing value too.

First ultra marathon, absolutely loved it. Well organised value for money,big thank you too the marshalling along the route. And Mary for spending the time and effort for all us runners to embrace what we enjoy doing. (Running).
Hopefully will get to do this one again next year.

Loved being back at this event. I love the uniqueness of two different start lines - means you often pass people and can offer/ receive words of encouragement. Great atmosphere. Love the novelty of the tunnels as well. Encouraging and helpful marshals / organisers / medical team. Can't wait to return again.

Great fun, great value. 2 starts maybe unique, or at least rare, and adds a nice spice (if you are racing) to figure out of you are ahead of runners coming in the oppposite direction. Great route. No frills, but who needs frills!

Great event, easy route and the tunnels add some fun.
Really well organised event. The 14 mile out and back means you are some of the way back before you start to struggle (hopefully).
It’s a very flat course and on made paths so unless the weather has been awful you should be fine with road shoes, and only some light puddles in the tunnels.
The tunnels are pretty long and dark so the headtorch is necessary.
Aid stations are quite frequent. Only think I thought was missing was some flat coke.
The out and back format means you see people pretty regularly as well.
Will be back next year and hopefully in better shape to do well!

Excellent event on a firm off road surface
Organisation fantastic with friendly marshalls. Self supported with refill of own bottles so no rubbish. A great alternative to mass events

Awesome + fun 28mile Ultra
This is a novel and well organised, off road trail run. Great as a trail marathon or as a entry into ultra running or as fum training event. The team create a well run, fun atmosphere. Grateful
