What a fab morning out running. I did the 5 mile run and was pretty well the back marker but the Marshalls were BRILLIANT, so encouraging, helpful and friendly. The course pretty much as I expected it to be, and yes a few undulations but nothing too taxing. As a diabetic I didn't try the cakes but they looked gorgeous! For anyone wanting a small, friendly, well organised trail run I would throughly recommend. Thank you the organisers.

Absolutely lovely trail run event.
I did the 5 miler as a way to get back in after an injury, and it’s a local race I’ve wanted to do for some time but the dates have not worked for be before. I’ll definitely be back! Hopefully with some new recruits! Really lovely, challenging route and I love that you can ‘just’ do 5 miles-this makes it so accessible. The locals were really friendly and the event definitely had the cutest Marshalls I’ve ever met. Don’t have enough superlatives for the cakes! Thank you for a fab event and a lovely medal too!

There was a point without an arrow, turning right past the farmhouse at piggy march. But it made sense to go right.

Tougher course than expected. The elevations and the unevenness of the ground made me seriously consider DNF before reaching halfway. However the atmosphere and the organisers were amazing, and the second half had amazing views. It was worth the effort

This was my first trail run and it was super tough but I completed it. They event was very well organised - great communication in the run up, organised well on the day, the race itself had good markings of the route and marashals. Added bonus of cake at the end. Fantastic!

Loved the medal design but it would have been nice if each race had their own design variation.

It also would have been nice to have some basic allergen information on the cakes as well, but I appreciate they were all baked on a voluntary basis.

Would love to see a children’s event here - perhaps a 2k like the event at Winwick Hall. There were loads of children in Clipston supporting adults so i’m sure there would be good turnout, particularly if the kids race starts after the adult runners are back in.

Fab course, amazing volunteers, well organised and friendly atmosphere. Race Harborough are always the best organised events and I can’t fault them! Would 100% recommend!

Great pre event info as usual, friendly organisers, pro environmental approach which is great. Challenging route with plenty of hills but no pressure, fantastic views and a good work out for the legs. Lovely low key friendly trail event, perfect for those who dont want the hustle and bustle of the larger events. Thanks all
