I was pleasantly surprised that the ice-cream van and coffee van were reasonable prices.

A well put together weekend of running antics. It was tough is lovely surroundings.

Love this race for the scenery and the friendly vibe. I would recommend it to all runners, whether beginners or experienced trail runners.

I can't think of anything to improve. 7 varied courses, superbly supportive marshals, nice food and coffee. Well done Mary

This course allowed me to knock 4 mins off my 1/2 marathon time :)

This was my first year taking on the Trail Mix Challenge (5 races of 5km each, run on the hour every hour) and it was brilliant. The setting of Deene Park is beautiful and it allows for some variety across the runs, although there is a little bit of overlapping of routes, naturally. The atmosphere is very relaxed - everyone pitches their gazebos and camping chairs near the HQ and chills out between races. We had glorious sunshine but I think even if it was wet and cold you’d be okay sheltering in your car as the car park is right next to the start/finish.
I think the organisation was very good - the race pack had all the information you need and more, and it was sent out in good time before the event. The marshals were all very friendly and helpful. All in all, a great event and one I hope to return to next year.

Usually canicross so was particularly nervous as this was a non dog event but wow just wonderful the ground was tough as it was quite rugged in places due to the lack of rain this year but that’s just one of those things . The route was lovely a nice mixture of woodland fields and patches of road a mean old hill at the end was not a joy but next year if I’m lucky to be fit enough I shall know it’s there . My other concern was I’m more of a walk / runner now so I was worried if I would be holding all the marshalls up but they were fab all of them thankyou so much for this event and if I’m lucky to be fit enough next year I will be putting it on the calendar. I purchased a tee as well great quality Thankyou

This was hard, hilly running, well organised a great atmosphere. The trails were through stunning countryside and estate grounds. The hardest and most enjoyable running event I have done.
