Thanks for a great event. Well organised and ran smoothly. Not as hot as last year but still a bit on the warm side.

I couldn’t have asked for more. What really made this race stand out was the personal touch and effort of the organiser. In addition it is the first trail marathon where the course has been marked. I was so grateful! There is nothing worse than wasting precious energy and time by losing your way. I loved the scenery. I will definitely be doing this one again. It is fantastic as a beginner introduction to ultra and badly needed. Highly recommend

As one of the last marathoners in felt supported and seen the same as the winners.heat hard on the day but great route for a 1st trail marathon and great checkpoint fuel stations with support.

Great run from Hanslope village in Northamptonshire to Grafham water totalling 50 miles. Can't fault the organisation or the aid stations which had a choice of sweet and savoury snacks.

The route is predominantly grassy trail around farmland with mostly gentle rolling hills. For this reason it is not as far as a tarmac route e.g. Thames path, but extremely pretty countryside.

Would happily do again.
