Fun challenge
This is my second time running though course. I enjoy the scenery very much and enjoyed the sense of achievement finishing the 10k. There are some tough hills and somewhat rugged terrain but then that's what trail runs are all about!
Thankyou for hosting, I'll be back next year!
Matthew Miles
Great event absolutely loved it, will definitely do it again and thoroughly recommend to one and all
Very friendly, tough but fair course and a lovely atmosphere with some amazing views across a multi layered land scape, so very inspiring

Challenging but enjoyable local trail race

Worth it for the views
This was my first trail event and I won't lie I found the hills very tough, especially Honey hill! The views were beautiful though and made it worth the incline!
Well done on tackling Honey Hill as part of your first trail race! Hopefully it was the first of many to come!

Value for money and a great medal

A friendly event in attractive countryside.
A nice straight-forward trail race. Ideal for a first trip to the trails but with enough challenge for a more seasoned runner looking for a nice morning out.
Lovely but challenging route.
Very relaxed atmosphere in the start area in a lovely remote setting next to the hall. Undulating start before the first of a few reasonably challenging climbs followed by a lovely long descent after the highest point, with wide open views for miles across the countryside. A couple more little climbs before the last half mile back to the finish line. Route was safe underfoot with minimal rough areas making it reasonable for new comers to trail running.

Great fun Kids run in a Beautiful Location
Robin Schumacher
Beautiful scenery and challenging hills
Niall Yasseen
A brilliant event from start to finish.
Martin Farr
Good race and a lovely venue
Maybe a bit of a funnel at the finish to stop people walking across as runners are finishing
Hi Martin. Many thanks for the feedback. I've added a note to my plans for 2027 to tape off the line to the finish to make it nice and clear for runners and spectators alike.
Migle Lipnickyte
Very hilly at points but enjoyed it!

Love Race Harborough events, never failed to enjoy!
Lovely event again, brutal hills though!! 2k children’s race started a little late but thankfully weather was good and kids managed well. They loved their medals too. Thank you RH.
Hi Sarah. Glad you enjoyed the race! So sorry for the delayed start to the 2k race this year. For 2027 I plan to advertise an 11:15am start to allow everybody enough time to return from the 10k event before the children begin. The children waited very patiently though. They did a great job of preserving their energy ready to all speed off at the start of their race!

Lucy Meacham
Challenging but fun!
This was a challenging but great course. The weather was perfect which added to the enjoyment. I liked that the event wasn't too busy and overwhelming. I will definitely book next year!

Well organised event on beautiful trails
This was a great trail event. It was very well organised and the whole race was on beautiful and well maintained footpaths and bridleways. The marshalls were well spaced out and opened all gates as we approached with friendly words of encouragement. Would definitely recommend this event and would run it again.
